The new Sontronics SOLO is a supercardioid dynamic microphone that is the world’s first dynamic mic to be designed, developed and made in the UK.
The SOLO has an extremely tight supercardioid pattern and gives excellent results on live vocals, guitar amps and drums. SOLO works just as well in the studio as it does on stage. With superb off-axis rejection and requiring no EQ, the Sontronics SOLO is very easy to set up and use, whether you’re a live sound engineer, a gigging vocalist with your own PA or a guitarist recording amps in your home set-up. In fact, during the testing stages of the mic in various venues with a range of musicians, the SOLO outperformed many other dynamic mics including some that cost four or five times the price of SOLO!
Manufactured within 10 miles of Sontronics’ headquarters in the South of England, the SOLO is engineered from a solid piece of aluminium with black anodised finish and beautifully etched logo, and it feels substantial but not too weighty in the hand.
The SOLO is supplied with a mic clip with a thread adaptor so it will fit any size mic stand, plus zip-up, leather-look pouch for simple storage and protection when moving from gig to gig. Like all Sontronics mics, SOLO is covered by Sontronics’ unique Lifetime Warranty – see http://www.sontronics.com/warranty.htm for more details.
Sontronics is also doing its bit for the planet as the SOLO packaging (cardboard box, foam packing, printed outer sleeve) are also made within 30 miles of Sontronics HQ and are all 100% recyclable.
